Las Vegas Pool Water Test

Check the Water Quality

The first thing you’ll need to remember when maintaining your Las Vegas pool is to test the water quality often. If your pool water test finds a chemistry imbalance then you need to make sure to add the right chemicals to the water. You also need to keep the chlorine levels consistent at all times.

A pool without the right chemical balance can harbor bacteria, not look clear, and be unsafe to swim in.

Water quality should be checked at least once per week during the summer months. If your pool is in Las Vegas you don’t close your pool during the winter months, checking your pool chemical levels every 2 weeks is usually often enough during the winter.

It is important that the pH stay between 7.2 and 7.8. An off-balance pH may lead to calcium buildup around the sides of your pool and many other bigger problems, so it’s important you are checking and maintaining your pool’s pH well.
